Post Birthday Poem

celebrate the old bones
rustling softly against the pale skin
and the pink skin rubbing the cold sheets
the friction is electric and aging is electrifying
be electrified by being thirty five years alive
greet the sunny morning a reclining pose
and pet the swan in that capsized hips
ride the wave of that flabby stomach
drum the whale's belly and howl
like you are not going to be spit out.
